Red Wines

Alpha Zeta Ripasso Supererioire 2014 - Italy
The ripasso adds a dried cherry intensity which reminds us every time why this is possibly our absolute favourite. Concentrated perfume of red and black cherries. Full-bodied and opulent but balanced.
£18.25
Moon Harvest Shiraz 2016 – South Australia
We discovered this firm favourite on a trip to Lyme Regis – and have decided that it travels brilliantly ! Good berry fruit balanced with a touch of white pepper spice and subtle oak ageing. Moon Harvest grapes are picked at night to preserve freshness and the result is a classy wine that is good with or without food.

Bodegas Rasillo Rioja - Spain
Plenty of flavour but on the lighter side with rich redcurrant and raspberry aromas, very refreshing with hints of liquorice. Great sociable, sharing wine.

A rich and sweet melee of red and black fruit flavours with a lick of spice and liquorice. Just made to go with cheese – especially blues such as our Colston Bassett Stilton. Or, just enjoy on it’s own by the fireside or after a meal
